Hawks sweep Clinton CC at SUNY IT

The Hawks (13-13 overall, 8-6 in Region III) took the lead for good in the third inning with a three-run rally. The win was well in hand with a five-run rally in the fourth as Brandon Pelose went 2-for-4 at the plate for two RBIs as did Matt Thompson, but with one RBI. Bryce Patterson and Bryan McGuire both scored twice as the Hawks compiled six RBIs on eight hits and six base-on-balls.

MVCC took control of this game early with a seven-run rally in the second followed by another five runs in the third. Kyle Mapley scored three runs and a stolen base after being walked twice and Patterson, Pelose and Alex McLean each scored two runs.
