Record Breaking Season Underway For Men's Soccer

Head Coach Bob Gould has been at MVCC for over 30 years so when one of his team's breaks or ties a record it is a significant achiemevement. Especially for a program that has experienced so much success. This past week the Hawks tied the school record for consecutive shutouts with 6 after a 2-0 win over SUNY Adirondack. The team has a goal against average of 0.46. The defesne is anchored by sophomores: Chris Hanifin (Fort Plain) in goal; sweeper Adis Redzic (Utica); backs Almir Tricic (Utica) and Clayton Hawes (Edmeston).  The Team is currently ranked 2nd in Region III with a 12-1 record which included 11 straight victories.
