Hawks Compete at Continental Invitational

The MVCC Men's Track and Field team had a strong showing at the Hamilton College Continental Invitational in Clinton. 

Six Hawks qualified for the National Championships being held in Massachusetts in May at this event. 

Michael Warchol qualified and won the 800m with a time of 1:57.32

Joseph Topa finished fourth in the 1500m and qualified with a  time of 4:14.64

Three Hawks qualified for the 10k: Alec Ambruso (35:51.79), Bryan VanHall (37:37.06) and Tyler Unislawski (38:07.96).

Ryan Lockwood qualified in the Hammer Throw (41.44m) and Discus (34.50m)

Dalton Gorinshek qualified in the Hammer Throw (38.79m) and Discus (34.61m)

 
Other results:

Andrew Suprenant finished 4th in the 100m (11.50)

Tanner Trzepacz was 8th in the 100m (11.75) and 4th in the 200m (23.59)

MVCC 4x100M Relay (Suprenant, Trzepacz, Onyinyechi Echefu and Najee Hickley) 4th place (44.36) and qualified for nationals.

Pole Vault: Ony Echefu finsihed 3rd (3.70m 12-01.50) and qualified for nationals.
