Program History

2011 Season Summary

The Men’s Cross Country Team, under the direction of head coach Gary Parker (22nd season), finished their season with a 47-3 record against two year colleges.  The team captured Regional and Mountain Valley Conference Championships, and third at the NJCAA National Championship.  Jordan Hoffman and Tom Arcuri; All-American, All-Region, and All-Conference led the Hawks.

2010 Season Summary

The Men´s Cross Country Team, under the direction of head coach Gary Parker (21st season), finished their season with a 40-10 record against two year colleges. The team finished second in the Mountain Valley Conference and third at the Region III and 4th at the NJCAA National Championships. Jeremy Hogel; third team All-American and first team All-Conference, and Vincent Savastano, first team All-Conference, led the Hawks.


2009 Season Summary

 

The Men’s Cross Country Team, under the direction of head coach Gary Parker (20th season), finished their season with a 45-8 record against two year colleges.  The team finished second in the Mountain Valley Conference and third at the Region III and NJCAA National Championships.  This coupled with the Women’s team second place finish at Nationals placed the cross country program as the co-recipient of the coveted Pepsi Cup; awarded to the college with the best combined men and women’s finish at the national championships.   Todd Butters; second team All-American and first team All-Conference, and Garrett Parker, third team All-American, led the Hawks.


2008 Season Summary

The Men’s Cross Country Team, under the direction of head coach Gary Parker (19th season), finished their season with a 31-6 record.  The team finished second in Region III and at the National Championships.  This coupled with the Women’s team first place finish at Nationals placed the cross country program as the recipient of the coveted Pepsi Cup; awarded to the college with the best combined men and women’s finish at the national championships.   Kevin Mulcahy and Todd Butters; All-Region and All-American, led the Hawks.


2007 Season Summary

The Men’s Cross Country Team, under the direction of head coach Gary Parker (18th season), finished their season with a 29-10 record.  The team finished third in the Mountain Valley Conference, Region III, and at the National Championships.  Kevin Mulcahy; first team All-American, All-Conference and All-Region, and Celestino Rivera; third team All-American, led the Hawks.  Head coach Gary Parker was named National Coach of the Year by his peers.


2006 Season Summary

The Men’s Cross Country Team, under the direction of head coach Gary Parker (17th season), finished their season with a 54-5-2 record.  The team finished second in the Mountain Valley Conference and Region III, and third at the National Championships.  Travis Dragoon; All-Conference and All-Region, and third team All-American, and Bryan March; All-Conference and All-Region, led the Hawks.


2005 Season Summary

The Men’s Cross Country Team, under the direction of head coach Gary Parker (16th season), finished their season with a 60-5 record.  The team finished second in the Mountain Valley Conference, Region III, and National Championships.  Together with the women’s team they won the Pepsi Cup; awarded to the school with the best men and women’s teams combined national finish.  Aaron Sirtoli; Conference Champion and first team All-Region and All-American, Lukas Aeschlimann; first team All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American, and Travis Dragoon; second team All-Region and third team All-American, led the Hawks.


2004 Season Summary

The Men’s Cross Country Team, under the direction of head coach Gary Parker (15th season), finished their season with a 50-8 record.  The team finished third in the Mountain Valley Conference and Region III and National Championships.  Lukas Aeschliman, who was first team All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American; Mike Keating, who was third team All-American, led the Hawks.
