MVCC broke the 0-0 tie within the first 15 minutes of the game when Sarah Bruins scored off a long cross pass from Jenelle Dillenbeck. Bruins has seven goals on the season as the Hawks have outscored the opposition 48-3.

This lead held until the closing moments of the first half when Taylor Doolittle took a pass from Dillenbeck to place the ball between the pipes for her fourth goal of the season. The 2-0 halftime lead held through the second half.

This victory improves Moquin's record in goal to 6-2 with a .944 percent save average.
