Hawks fall short against SUNY Delhi netters

The MVCC women's volleyball team is still looking for its first victory of the season, but the Hawks did not go down easy against SUNY Delhi on Wednesday.

The Hawks, who lost 3-0, played the first two games of the match very close. SUNY Delhi was able to find a few holes in the MVCC defense and escaped with 25-16 victories in both. The final game of the match ended with the Hawks falling 25-10.

Leading the Hawks' offense was Dina Kapic with seven kills and eight digs. She was also in on 16 attacks. Also working the net was Anthonae Sheard with four kills, three digs and two blocks. Both Sheard and Kapic finished with eight points.
