While Stephanie Boucher dominated the field of runners on Saturday at the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational at Finger Lakes Community College, the entire Hawks' team came together and won the overall title.
Boucher, in her sophomore season, took first place in 20 minutes, 17.5 seconds. The next closest runner was Lauren Rabideau, who was running as an independent, in 20:35.6. Herkimer College's Victoria Campanian finished third in 20:41.
In the field of 30 runners, AnnaMarie Roberts finished fifth in 21:15.1 followed in ninth by Rebecca LaPorte in a time of 21:59. Also scoring points for MVCC was Mary Manzari in tenth place in 23:11.6 and Hannah West in 12th place in 23:44.0.
MVCC took the team title with 20 points followed by Herkimer College with 39 points.
