Hawks sore by Clinton Community College
The Mohawk Valley Men's Soccer team beat Clinton Community College by a score of 8-0 on Saturday night. Issak Somow was the first to get on the board less than two minutes into the game off an assist from a David Duh. Less than a minute later, Trevor Worden improved the lead to 2-0 off an assist from Issak Somow. Erick Ramos was the third hawk to get on the board on another assist from Issak Somow. Issak Somow found his third and fourth goals with less than 3 minutes in the second half on assists from Erick Ramos and Abdi Somow. The Hawks headed into halftime with a score of 5-0. Six minutes into the second half, Erick Ramos found his second goal of the game off an assist from Trevor Worden. 15 minutes later, Jorge Lozada notched a goal which was assisted by Abdi Somow. Owen Stapleton had the last tally for the Hawks off a feed from Cody Jones to secure the 8-0 victory for the Hawks. Goalkeeper Santiago Rojas made 5 saves for the Hawks on route to his second consecutive shutout.
