Hawks Men's Cross Country Places Fourth at Region III Championships
The Mohawk Valley Community College men's cross country team turned in a strong performance at the NJCAA Region III Championships, finishing fourth overall.
Leading the way for the Hawks was Alex Keller, who continued his outstanding season with a 4th-place finish, clocking a time of 29:23.77 on the challenging regional course. Keller's top-five performance paced the team and secured key points toward MVCC's overall standing.
Jayden Taylor followed with another top-10 effort, finishing 10th in 31:47.59, while Anthony Joyce was close behind, placing 12th with a time of 32:27.05. The trio provided a solid front for the Hawks.
Rounding out the scoring for Mohawk Valley, Lukas Moore finished 21st in 36:05.02, and Ronald Richmond placed 22nd in 37:18.15.
The Hawks will complete their season at the NJCAA Division III National Championships in Fort Dodge, Iowa, where they'll compete against the top teams from across the country.
