The MVCC Lady Hawks took two from Monroe Community College in a doubleheader played in Rochester.

The Hawks won game on 5-4 in 8 innings as Arielle Gary's RBI single scored Madelynn Badger from 2nd base to break up the tie.  Emma Hodges pitched 8 innings allow no earned runs in the game. 

In game two, the Hawks used a big 5th inning to earn a 7-5 victory.  Montana Sochia hit a two out two RBI double in the bottom of the 5th to give MV a 6-5 lead.  Sochia scored later in the inning on Carissa Tasovac's single for MVCC's seventh run. Sydney McEvoy earned the win and Emma Hodges picked up the save.
