The MVCC Baseball team played their first ever games on the brand new turf at Donovan Stadium this past Saturday. The Hawks welcomed our neighbors from the North as the Tri-City Giants coached by former MVCC standout Zachary Kaal visited town. This was the first of several fall scrimmages for the Hawks as they will entertain Holyoke CC on September 27th, Utica University on October 4th (Amazing Gracies Gift Fundraiser) and Syracuse Sports Zone on October 18th. 

The new turf at Donovan Stadium is also accompanied by improved dugouts, netting, 4 new bullpen mounds and 4 brand new fully turfed batting cages. New lighting was also installed with the project that was completed this past June.
