The MVCC Fall Baseball portion of the yearly schedule has gotten a huge boost thanks to the new turf at Donovan Stadium. The Hawks practiced Monday, Wednesday and Friday with exhibition games on Saturday's during the whole month of September and October. In most years MVCC would be limited to practices in the Jorgensen Athletic and Events Center field house on campus starting in Mid-October. Although the field house is a great place to practice and train, it is inside, which can be tough for an outdoor sport like baseball. MVCC recently took advantage of a beautiful late November Saturday with a full team practice outdoors on the turf, marking the latest fall outdoor practice in school history. The MVCC Spring schedule is set to start at home on March 10th.
