#1 Hawks Remain Unbeaten, Move to 5–0 With 89–73 Win Over Fulton-Montgomery

The No. 1–ranked Mohawk Valley Hawks improved to 5–0 on the season Wednesday night, earning a convincing 89–73 road victory over Fulton-Montgomery.

Brandon Way Jr. delivered one of the best performances of the night, pouring in 24 points on an efficient 9-of-18 shooting, including 6-of-9 from three. Fellow guard Darnell Childs added a steady 19 points, attacking the rim often and contributing 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Davon Stanley was a force on the glass, pulling down 10 rebounds, while Sincere Smith continued his strong start to the season with 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Kevion Cummings added another well-rounded performance, finishing with 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Jaeshaun Felder scored 7 points, while Jonathan Gustinvil provided valuable minutes inside, contributing 7 points and 3 rebounds on perfect shooting. Sean Paige added 4 points.

After taking a 40–34 lead into halftime, the Hawks' offense exploded for 49 second-half points, allowing them to pull away and secure the 16-point win.

With the victory, Mohawk Valley remains undefeated and will hit the road and take on SUNY Broome and Tompkins Cortland on December 6th & 7th.
