#4 Hawks Fly Past Corning Community College

Mohawk Valley Community College put on a dominant performance at home, rolling past Corning Community College with a commanding 99–76 victory on Saturday afternoon.

The Hawks were in complete control from the opening tip, showcasing offensive balance and efficiency while overwhelming Corning on both ends of the floor. Mohawk Valley shot 46.3 percent from the field and knocked down eight three-pointers.

Sincere Smith led the way with a game-high 20 points on an efficient 8-of-11 shooting, adding a three-pointer and attacking the rim consistently. Jaeshaun Felder followed closely with 19 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, finishing a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line.

Donald Grant Jr. delivered a sharp shooting performance, scoring 19 points while going a perfect 4-for-4 from beyond the arc. Darnell Childs posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Davon Stanley added 16 points and a game-high 12 rebounds, giving the Hawks strong interior production.

Mohawk Valley's depth was on full display, with multiple players contributing offensively and defensively as the Hawks maintained pressure throughout the contest. The team finished with 37 made field goals and 18 offensive rebounds, creating consistent second-chance opportunities.

The Hawks improve to 8-3 on the season and return to action when they host Genesee Community College on Sunday for a noon tip off.
