Mohawk Valley Bowlers Finish 16th at NJCAA National Championships

The Mohawk Valley Community College bowling team competed against some of the best programs in the country at the NJCAA Bowling National Championship, finishing 16th overall.

In doubles competition, the Hawks' top duo of Andrew Cyr and Trevor Cyr led the way, placing 40th.

In singles play, Andrew Cyr paced Mohawk Valley with a 32nd-place finish out of 150 bowlers, the highest singles placement for the team during the tournament.

In the All-Events standings, Trevor Cyr turned in the program's top overall performance, finishing 46th out of 150 competitors. Additional All-Events results for Mohawk Valley included:

  • Andrew Cyr – 54th

  • Landon Piersma – 62nd

  • George Marsh – 64th

  • Daniel Janes – 76th

The national tournament provided valuable experience for the Hawks as they competed against top collegiate bowlers from across the country. With several athletes expected to return next season, the program looks forward to building on this year's performance.

Mohawk Valley also recognized Daniel Janes and George Marsh for their commitment and dedication to the program over the past two years, thanking them for their contributions to the team.
