Mohawk Valley Community College Hawks fell to the Genesee Community College Cougars on the road.

Goalkeeper Anthony Badolato delivered a determined effort in net, turning aside multiple shots while facing constant pressure from Genesee's high-powered offense.

Genesee set the tone early and never let up, consistently capitalizing on scoring opportunities while limiting MVCC's chances on the offensive end. 

With the loss, MVCC falls to 0-4 on the season, while Genesee evens its record at 4-4.

The Hawks will look to regroup as they return to action on April 8, when they host Herkimer College at 5:30 p.m. at D'Alessandro Stadium.
