Hawks Fall to Hudson Valley in Lacrosse Matchup
Utica, NY — The Mohawk Valley Community College Hawks men's lacrosse team was defeated by Hudson Valley Community College, 19–3, in Region III action.
Game Summary
Hudson Valley opened with six goals in the first quarter and added one in the second to take a 7–1 lead at halftime. Christian Cotrupe scored the Hawks' first goal on an unassisted play in the second quarter.
In the third quarter, Julian Fobbs scored off an assist from Cotrupe to make the score 7–2. Hudson Valley added two more goals before the end of the quarter.
Hudson Valley scored 10 goals in the fourth quarter. Mohawk Valley's final goal came from Ethan Pogozelski, assisted by Bryan Decker.
