MVCC Battles Fulton-Montgomery in Back-and-Forth Weekend

Mohawk Valley Community College and Fulton-Montgomery split a stretch over May 2–3.

The opener on May 2 went to MVCC, 7–5, as they jumped out early and answered FMCC rallies throughout the game. Mathew McNicoll led the way offensively with a home run and multiple RBIs, while the Hawks' lineup spread out production enough to hold off a late push from Fulton-Montgomery.

FMCC responded in the second game of the doubleheader, using a strong offensive outing to secure a 9–5 win. The Raiders broke things open in the middle innings and capitalized on extra-base hits, including home runs from Kao Huai En and Connor Bentley, to even the day's results.

The following day in Utica, MVCC controlled the series finale with a 10–1 victory. The offense came alive early and never really slowed down, while the pitching staff limited FMCC to just one run despite scattered hits.

The Hawks conclude the 2026 season and look forward to building towards the 2027 season.
