The MVCC Men's Soccer team opened the 2024 season with a 13-1 win over Clinton Community College on Wednesday evening.  Gustavo Nunes was the first to tally a goal on an assist from Felipe Machado. Machado would then notch the next two goals on assists from Nunes and Santiago Molina. Souayibou Diop would be the next Hawk to find the back of the net on a pass from David Achuil. Davi Moretzsohn would then tally his first goal of the year on a pass from Diop. Santiago Molina added his first goal of the season on a pass from Moretzsohn. David Perez Salgado would find his first goal of the season on a pass from Molina. Molina would then find his second goal of the game on a pass from Nunes. The Hawks entered the halftime break with an 8-0 lead.

David Achuil would open the scoring in the second half on a pass from Ahmadou Amar. Achuil would find his second goal of the game on a pass from Amir Halilovic. Achuil would then tally an assist when he found Ahamadou Amar for Amar's first goal of the season. Mihaljo Jankovic would find his first goal of the season on a pass from Adelin Buljubasic. Amir Halilovic would find his first goal of the year on a pass from Jorge Angeles to finish out the contest. 

The Hawks return to action when they host SUNY Broome at 7:00PM on Wednesday, September 4 at D'Alessandro Stadium in Utica, NY.
